The Gyro Music App is a complete music platform that takes you from your first piano lesson through to recording, mixing, and mastering your own tracks. It combines piano learning with a real-time AI tutor, a full song library, sheet music reading, a multi-track studio, professional mixing tools, and AI-powered mastering — all in one place, on web, mobile, and desktop.
Choose from guided note lessons, score-based lessons, or full song learning with sheet music. Adjust tempo, shift key, loop any section, filter by hand, and follow notation on screen with zoom, page-turn, and fingering support. A built-in metronome and listen-only mode let you study passages before playing them.
A real-time AI tutor listens as you play, analyses timing and accuracy, identifies mistake patterns, and offers technique-specific advice mid-session. After each session the AI coach delivers bullet-point insights on timing, dynamics, consistency, and note coverage so you know exactly what to focus on next.
Browse and search a full song library with difficulty filters, genre, composer, key signature, and time signature options. Mark favourites, track progress per song, and pick up where you left off. Classical works include catalogue references such as K., Op., and BWV numbers, with movement details for multi-movement pieces.
Record multi-track MIDI sessions, manage tracks, set tempo and loop regions, mute or solo individual parts, and control master and per-track volume. Save, load, and revisit projects at any time. Export sessions as WAV files for sharing or further production work.
A built-in mixing suite gives you EQ, compression, gain and pan automation curves, bus compression, master EQ, loop region editing, clip trimming, snap-to-grid drag-and-drop, and waveform visualisation. Create multiple mix versions, use undo and redo history, and run auto-mix for quick results.
Upload audio or bounce directly from the studio. The AI mastering engine recommends settings based on genre, target platform, and intent — including LUFS loudness targets for Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming services. Compare multiple master candidates, check compliance, and download the finished master.
Connect Bluetooth MIDI or USB MIDI keyboards with automatic reconnection to your last device. Play notes on the on-screen virtual piano keyboard, or use a QWERTY keyboard with a standard piano mapping and octave shifting. Velocity-sensitive input is supported across all connection types.
Track total practice time, notes played, accuracy, and session count across configurable time periods. The achievements system rewards first sessions, practice streaks, song completions, perfect performances, and note milestones. Charts and AI-generated insights give a clear picture of how you are improving.

No. You can use the on-screen virtual piano keyboard or your computer keyboard. MIDI keyboards via Bluetooth or USB are supported for a more expressive practice experience but are not required.
Yes. The app includes a full multi-track studio for MIDI recording, a professional mixing suite with EQ, compression and automation, and an AI mastering tool with streaming platform loudness targets. You can export finished tracks as WAV files.
